I love you J, but you are really messed up with this support! In the very near future I am afraid you and the rest of his supporters will see why he is NOT the man for change for the good and then it will be too late. Leanna, Krista and I are all wearing black today in mourning for our country. All I can say is we know from the scriptures it will get a lot worse before Christ comes again so this is a MAJOR sign for me that we are near the second coming of Christ. SORRY! Im sorry you feel that way.. I respect your political and spiritual beliefs entirely but I have to agree to disagree on this one. I did a lot of research on Obama in this past election, knowing even though I couldn't vote, I should inform myself on the two canidates. After doing so, I found that I agreed with almost every opinion and idea Obama had for our nation. I am not a conservative, I am a liberal. Unlike some Liberals, I do have a deference, and will always be open to others, whether or not they agree with me. We all have our own opinions, and no matter what someone says, you usually can't break them. So I will remain open, but I do believe with all my heart, that God chose Barack Obama for a reason. I think Obama is a very scrupulous man, who will turn this country around.
Jessica, I hate that you think God chose him. He didn't honey. He wouldn't have chosen McCain either. The people of this great country did. We were given free agency when we came to earth to try and do the right thing during this life in order to make it back to Him. We all voted and that's that. I'm not going into religious beliefs with you now, but I want to tell you that I believe you tried to choose the way your heart was telling you. I also want you to know that the reason I commented on this message was to let you know my beliefs. I don't get to do that with you EVER, so I wanted you to know how your Aunt feels, because I love you and know you love me. I just wanted to share something I feel very strongly about not because I wanted to argue, but because I wanted to share opinions. That's how we learn. Sorry if you got upset or whatever, but truly that wasn't my intention. The world is a mess. No matter who is in office today or years from now they have a hard road ahead. Let's just hope and pray we are all alright in the process. Love, La
I am not upset in any way Laurie. I definitely love hearing your thoughts. It's a great way for me to learn more about you, and people in general. I am very accepting of people's beliefs, and who they choose to be. Which is another reason why I like Obama so much. He's the same way. Provincialism is not a trait that I carry. Thankyou for sharing how you feel with me. Also, I apoligize if I seemed impertinent in my last post. I was just sharing my opinions as well. I just love the fact that we can both share our beliefs even if our political views are from opposite ends of the spectrum. haha. We are both two strong willed people who are very sure in what they believe in, and that is wonderful. More people should feel as confident with their notions. :) I love you La.
